so i guess waiting until i'm not ridiculously busy has proven to be futile...  so i'll post a new post and hopefully appease all of my loyal fans  

life is good, but busy.  i have been working the past month as an orchestra assistant in a local school district.  i help out the high school, 2 middle schools and an elementary school.  it's very awesome & i love it!  i've also started taking online classes to get my master's degree which will include getting my teaching degree.  the format is really great, as i can choose what times and days to do school.  and then there's teaching lessons, conducting youth symphony, and being a mom.  God has been really good to me!!

so, i wish you all blessings and joy in your lives.  and i'll try to update more often, even if it's just a little bit. 

I'm Okay!!...

..that was the phrase most often uttered by me on a recent skiing trip w/some friends.  usually it was after falling on my backside in the snow, or after tumbling into a creek (see suzanne's pics), or after a couple of somersaults  .  but really...i'm okay .  and it was super fun.  and even though the wear and tear on my body was painful at times, i'd totally go again.  after i recuperate for a few weeks, of course...

  suzanne on the lift (yes, i am multi-talented and can take pictures while riding hundreds of feet in the air on a lift w/nothing to keep me from falling off, but can i ski down a mountain for more than 2 seconds before falling down?  i don't think so.)

 it took me like over an hour just to get down this portion, cause my legs hurt soooo bad.  after that, i was done for the night, and got to hang out in the nice warm lodge
